Hi Guys!

On the twentieth of September Im going to (attempt) to undertake the mammoth task of running/jogging/walking/crawling the Berlin Marathon, 26.2 miles of hell to be exact. After epic amounts of hardcore, intensive training and preparation (three and a half weeks of half hearted running which got me into various escapades, running through dog, horse and cow poo, being mown down by an OAP on a bicycle, nearly falling into a canal and on one particular run going so far in one direction that I had to get a taxi home...) Im in the best shape of my life, ahem, and with Lucille waiting at the finish line with a bottle of vodka, packet of twenty and a wheelchair, I should be fine!

Whether reading this makes you groan, roll your eyes or fall off your chair laughing, I hope it's enough to inspire you to put your hand in your pocket for a pound or two. Im running for Refuge, a charity which protects women and children against domestic violence. Im not going to bombard you with facts and figures- if you want to find out more you can, but the above should say it all. 

And in the meantime know this, that aside from the world of pain I'm going to put myself through, I've given up smoking and drinking... If that isnt worth your money I dont know what is!
