Story

I am running my first ever marathon next April for the NDCS - the National Deaf Childrens Society. They are a simply wonderful charity who help children with hearing loss and their parents learn how to make sure those children get the help and encouragement they need to win at life.
Many of you will know that my rather lovely niece Dixie has a severe to profound hearing loss but her and her parents would not have made it this far without the guidance and kindness that the NDCS have given them.
They will loan you thousands of pounds worth of equipment (such as radio aids etc), so that you can figure out just what your child needs to help them in their day to day lives and they can give you a toolbox of information to help you fight your corner with local authorities and schools and anyone else you can think of.

I couldn't possibly be more biased but disability is real and each and everyone of us could find ourselves needing the support of a fab organisation like this.

Look at these pictures of Dixie and tell me you don't want to donate 😘

And remember this is my first ever marathon, so take pity on me and as a bonus I will spam you with pictures of this 4 year old genius who despite everything she has to deal with is one of the most confident, amiable people you will ever meet.

Thank you for your pennies, it means the world to me, the Harris' and the NDCS too.

xoxo
