Story

Hi,

On Sunday the 22nd July, I will be part of a Dragon Boat team racing other teams to raise money for the charity Widowed And Young (WAY).

You probably have not heard of WAY, and I hope you will never have need to use its services, but they offer bereavement support to younger people after the loss of their partner.

Since losing my husband Jonnie in February  2017, WAY have supported me through what has been an immensely difficult time.  Through their events I have met other young people who have also tragically lost their partner.  I've made some great friends who have helped me understand how to navigate this journey and importantly given me hope for the future when I thought all hope was lost.  Their support has been invaluable and I want to support them to continue to help others.

If you are able to spare a couple of pounds, I'd be really grateful.  Thank you in advance!
