I am a specialist Breast Care Nurse in Manchester and I am cycling from London to Paris in June 2017 to raise money for Prevent Breast Cancer (formerly known as Genesis)..

This is the UK's only charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer (which currently affects 1 in 9 women in their lifetime).

This charity is very close to my heart, because I myself have a family history of breast cancer and therefore have annual breast screening tests carried out at the Nightingale Centre, Wythenshawe Hospital.

This is the home of Prevent  Breast Cancer and the only Breast Cancer Prevention Centre in the U.K.

I have the pleasure of working with Consultant Breast Surgeon and the founder of Prevent Breast Cancer charity,  Lester Barr every week and I see first hand the consequences that this horrific disease has on the lives of patients and their families.

I want to contribute in a small way by raising funds for the charity, so I will be dedicating four days to riding my bike 350 miles!

Please help me to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful charity, so we can work together towards a world where breast cancer is preventable and no individual will have to suffer from this terrible disease.
