Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My mother in law eventually lost her fight with cancer on the 29th September 2011. It's been a 14 month roller coaster ride of emotion. Throughout all of it Macmillan Cancer Support and other organisations have been very very helpful in co-ordinating the support she has recieved. I also happen to work for Macmillan in one of their fundraising offices and have seen the importance of the charity in helping people affected by cancer.
I'm not a great runner, I started a few years ago just to see if I could and having seen many people do come crazy stuff for Macmillan over my time with them I thought it was about time I joined in. And so I have. I've signed up for the Great South Run. 10 miles around the streets of Portsmouth. At the moment I can run about 6 of those miles. It's the other 4 that I worry about.
So there you go. It's a pretty good cause, just click away and lets raise some more money to help out people affected by and living with cancer.
