The Big Half 2018 · 4 March 2018 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

So as I was unable to run the Great North Run this year (as I was 8 months pregnant) I am running the Great Half instead. It is going to be challenging as finding time to train with a newborn is proving impossible. I also am aiming to run a PB just to pile on the pressure.

My target of £300 will go along way to helping this great charity. Please help me reach it. As a family we do a lot to support this charity as it means a lot to us.

I will be posting updates on my training which I hope to start in December with a return to running club when I'll be 9 weeks postpartum.
