Hi everyone :)

In April, I'm going to attempt to run the Brighton Marathon to raise money for Safeline!! 

Safeline do important work supporting survivors on their journey to recovery, as well as delivering training/ guidance for healthcare professionals, the Police and within schools so many more can be protected. My target is £310 (this amount will fund one person through a Safeline project) so please do join me and donate!

Safeline is a specialist charity, working to prevent sexual violence and abuse and to support those who are affected - including survivors and their families. 

We provide: a telephone helpline and counselling service across Warwickshire, and online nationally; practical support for survivors reporting the abuse or rape to the police; training for professionals; and run sessions with young people and schools to protect those at risk. 

Our mission - 

To provide specialist, tailored support for anyone affected by or at risk of sexual abuse and rape, that empowers them to make choices about the lives they want and help prevent abuse. 

Our aims - 

1. Support and promote the wellbeing of survivors of sexual abuse and rape

2. To provide professional therapeutic services to survivors of sexual abuse and rape and anyone else affected, such as their family members. 

3. To provide specialist support for those choosing to report their abuse. 

4. To provide training around the issues of sexual abuse. 

5. To provide prevention programmes and support to children and young people at risk of sexual exploitation to enable them to build new skills, better relationships and self-confidence, making them safer from abuse.
