Kathryn's Cutting her hair for cancer

Cutting my hair for cancer · 16 March 2019
Update: I have chopped it off and sent it to The Little Princess Trust! Help me to reach my goal of £100 to send this wonderful charity.
In all honesty I love my hair. And cutting most of it off is scary. But my vanity is far less important than someone who’s lost their hair due to cancer or other illnesses, having a wig and feeling more themselves. So rather than getting a trim I am chopping off 12” and donating it to The Little Princess Trust.
Using my hair, the hair others have donated, and the donations you give, they’ll be able to make a wig free of charge for the patient. Cancer affects far too many people and I want to do something to fight back.
It costs £350 to make a wig, so these donations will just go a small way towards this, but every little helps!
For every £1 donated I will donate 20p, so even if you can only donate £1 it will be extremely helpful.
Thank you so much!
More about The Little Princess Trust: Provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
We have provided over 7,500 real hair wigs to sick children and young people, aged up to 24 years across the UK and Ireland. We are now in the early stages of offering our service in other areas of Europe and beyond.
In 2016, The Little Princess Trust furthered our mission to offer grants for research into kinder, more effective treatments for children’s cancers with fewer side effects. We have so far awarded just over £2.8 Million to 34 hand-selected projects.
