Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

I am running the Norwich Half Marathon to raise money for Parkinsons UK, as this disease has had a huge impact on me and my family this year. I will be running in celebration of Claude's life, - an amazing man who bravely lived with Parkinsons for 20 years with complete dignity and never a word of anger, and who is so sadly missed since losing his battle in February. Whilst this is motivation to fundraise in itself, another driver is that my wonderful mum was diagnosed with the disease this summer, and is facing it with all the courage and positivity those who know her would expect.

So, in a nutshell, please find a few spare coins to help me raise as much money as possible for this charity, and spur me on to get round those 13.1 miles on a Sunday morning in November!

With thanks, and much love, Kathryn x
