Well I said I would never do it again, not only that, but I'm doubling the distance and throwing in a Half Marathon too. Why, oh why can't I just say NO!!

Because I care, thats why. It still shocks and upsets me that 1 in 4 children in the UK live in poverty. It brings tears to my eyes that 4 million children go without, and I don't just mean toys.. I'm talking the basics. food, warm clothing, shoes that fit properly, a safe place to sleep at night. Things that in this day are not considered a luxury - but yet there are so many children living this way.

SO - when I joined First Days 18 months ago after not long having my son Fletcher I made a life choice, a choice I am pleased I made. I chose to care, to share and to help be part of a team whose aim is to end child poverty in the UK. To help the children that through no choice have been born into a situation which they have no control over.

So I hope you can spare a few pennies, and help me raise £1000 for First Days to help reach more children and families living in poverty and make their start that little bit better. To help them fit in, and thrive and give them the opportunities that I had as a child.
