The 34k Challenge

I am walking in honour of my hero, my big brother Kyle.. The walk will be a celebration of the places Kyle grew up, places he loved, lived, had a pint, walked bam bam and places he spent time with the people he loved the most.
I have 21 miles and places ranging from Bath and Bristol to fit in. We will have pit stops on the way. If anyone would like to join in parts or have a drink to celebrate Kyle on our route please message me or get your Nikes out and join in.
I love you Kyle.

The 34K Challenge
34,146, that’s our number at Suicide&Co. The estimated number of people directly bereaved by suicide a year. So we’ve asked our supporters to complete the 34K Challenge to raise awareness of that number and to raise funds to help those bereaved through our Counselling Service!
Over the course of a weekend (10th - 12th September), we'll have people walking, running or cycling 34km. We’ve chosen the dates in September as it’s right after World Suicide Prevention Day on the 9th.
We are supporting those bereaved by suicide because suicide always has company. The most recent figures show that there were a reported 6,507 suicides in the UK, that number multiplies when you think of the family & friends left behind. At Suicide&Co, our aim is to start a conversation about suicide-related grief. We recognise that an end like this, should be the start of many new conversations. We want to raise money to offer counselling grants to those bereaved from suicide.
