The North Staffs Heart Committee is an excellent local charity dedicated to providing essential cardiac equipment and services to the hospital and communities of North Staffordshire, as well as funding  medical research.  NSHC has helped the Royal Stoke hospital treat thousands of cardio-thoracic patients (including heart attack patients) and become a centre of excellence for cardiac care.  All staff are volunteers and so every penny goes toward vital supplies for the benefit of cardiac patients.

I am swimming the Great North Swim to raise money and awareness for NSHC so it can continue it's valuable support of our wonderful local hospital!
