1 Sunday afternoon I was at Dads waiting for my Sunday lunch when he came out with ''Kate guna do  a skydive for mine and ya mams anniversary can you book it and sort it for me?'' 'WHATTTTT your almost 62' was my initial thought. Then I started to think... why the hell not. I LOVE that he sets himself these challenges and it gives me great pleasure to know that he is not give up on life without my Mam but instead he is living the rest of his life doing things without a second thought.

WHY GRACE HOUSE? Not cancer research? Well my Mam liked to support Grace House as its a local charity helping terminally ill children.

Although everyday is a struggle - Dad finds this time of year one of the hardest. Remembering their secret wedding at St.Hildas church on the 3rd June alongside his best friend Tommy who has just recently passed away.
