I have been visiting Familia since 2007. It is an incredible charity  providing children with a family upbringing which they would not otherwise experience: They are given love and encouragement and provided with every opportunity for an education up to the level of their ability. 

The children at Familia have been through difficult times and it is heartbreaking to hear their stories, but Familia provides hope for them, for a better future and for an upbringing which will help them to flourish. 

The senior citizens too rely on Familia's help for their survival and the villagers benefit from their excellent outreach programmes. The new English medium school provides opportunity for both the children of Familia and those in the nearby area to receive an excellent education, providing them with more choice for their futures.
