28 November 2008 our lovely Sophie, not quite 13 years old, died from sepsis. In her memory we support The UK Sepsis Trust, a charity set up to improve the early recognition of sepsis, this is so important in increasing the chance of survival. We know that had we understood that Sophie had more than the flu, even on 27th, she would probably still be with us.
