Thames Path Challenge · 29 September 2012 to 30 September 2012 ·

AFK is a disability and neurodiversity charity providing support to children and young people across the UK. We assist young people in accessing specialised mobility equipment that isn't available on the NHS and routes to paid employment in an effort to close the disability employment gap.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I recently decided that since I have a pretty good ability to walk for a long time & distance I would channel this into raising money for others.

My chosen charity is Action for Kids. Many of us have had a happy fully able childhood filled with skipping, running and dancing. And have no idea of the struggle less able children face.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Now matter how small every £1 counts and IT ALL ADDS UP! :-)
