On 4th June 2019, Sean and I went full of hope and expectation to our 20 week scan, only to find out the devastating news that our baby's heart had stopped beating. Nothing can prepare you for such a monumental blow. A couple of days later we returned to the hospital to be induced and our precious daughter, Hanna Rose, was born on 7th June.

A few years ago the hospital introduced the Butterfly Suite, a special room for those facing baby loss to be cared for in a more private space. It made such a difference to us to have this dedicated room and to be able to spend time as a family after Hanna Rose was born.

We were also given a memory book, photos and hand and footprints that we cherish. These items are all above NHS provision and paid for by donations.

I'm raising money to ensure all families facing this most desperate of times are able to receive these precious keepsakes, and for the Butterfly Suite to be maintained. Without continued support the hospital would not be able to provide them.

On 1st September, along with my sisters and nephew, I'll be running 5k in the Big Fun Run Milton Keynes. I'm hugely grateful for your donations, and know that they will make a world of difference.
