I'm running the Virgin London Marathon in April in aid of Shelter. Homelessness and poor housing is a growing problem in this country, which is especially bad in London. It's a situation which is all too easy for anyone to fall into, and very hard to get out of. This Christmas, over 120,000 children alone were homeless. Shelter offers invaluable advice and support to those struggling with homelessness or bad housing, and last year, they responded to over 5 million enquiries. Their vision is that everyone should have safe, secure and affordable housing. Not too much to ask for, is it? And I really want to help them achieve their goal.

The most I have ever run is 10K, and I'm excited and daunted about this massive challenge! It would mean so much to me if you could spare a thought for me training over the winter, and help me achieve my goal of raising £2000 for this brilliant charity.
