Treloar’s is a charity that provides an outstanding specialist school and college for physically disabled children and young people, helping them to be as independent as possible.

Story

Thanks to the virtual running app, Zwift, I’ve got a last-minute place in this year’s London Marathon on 22nd April. Help! Though I may not be saying this after 26 miles, there is an amazing freedom to outdoor running, so I’d love to raise the money to buy a special RaceRunning bike for the disabled. My mum works as a physiotherapist with children with disabilities at Treloar's School in Hampshire and the students she works with there would love to experience that freedom for themselves. The bikes cost £1,500-£2,000 and the physiotherapy department has never had a RaceRunning bike before, so it would mean a lot to me to be able to buy them one and allow the children to use their legs to run freely for the first time.

Here's a video of one in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwW_RymN_VA

Any donations would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Katie x
