On 27 June 2010, 1200 people will swim 1.4 miles between Bournemouth and Boscombe piers in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

Personally, I am doing this event as a challenge. However there's no doubt that this charity is heavily relied on, especially within the current older generation.

Their mission is to reduce cardiovascular disease in UK to one of the lowest levels in the Europe, something that everyone needs to be concerned about.

Therefore there's no excuse not to donate to such a worthwhile charity!
