After a year and nine months, I'm finally off to the hairdressers! · 10 October 2015

FMA UK aims to achieve major change in the way fibromyalgia sufferers are diagnosed, treated and supported. Our national helpline is 0300-999-3333; free information packs for the newly diagnosed; free Health Packs for UK health professionals and over 100 support groups and helplines around the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know my mum was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in May 2014. It has affected not just my mum but all of us, as we have had to adapt to accommodate this condition. It affects people in a variety of ways but more research needs to be done to ensure people like my amazing mum can continue to enjoy a fulfilling life. By donating to this page, your money will go straight to Fibromyalgia Action, which supports people with the condition and conducts research into a cure.

I have decided to have my hair cut to help three different charities: The Princess Trust, Fibromyalgia Action and Gatoto Primary School in Nairobi, Kenya.

If you have reached this page but instead wish to donate to Gatoto Primary School, please hand your donation to me.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
