At my school, every year our specific 'house' has a charity. Mine is Haig. And this year we selected the charity called the Alzheimer's Society. A lady I have known since I was born, suffers from Alzheimer's. She is a lovely lady and the way that she has suffered has not only affected her whole life, but those around her too.

When I found out about this charity, I researched it, I was intreged. I watched a video on YouTube shortly after, it was of a man, suffering from Alzheimer's. His Father also suffered from it too and he spoke of how depression was one of the excelleraters of this. He also mentioned how it affected his life so much.

This touched me and made me want to make a difference, so in aid of the charity, I am using an event I am taking part in with my school as an oppertunity to raise money for this amazing charity.
