Next weekend, team Young (Logan, Pippa, Katie and Daniel) will be putting on our running shoes and Santa hats to raise money for North London Cares (part of the Cares family across 5 locations nationally).  This winter is going to be different for everyone, and many will find it tougher than usual. North London Cares are working to make sure that older and younger neighbours in Camden and Islington stay connected this winter, by running online social clubs, and matching neighbours together to stay in touch safely to help combat loneliness and isolation. I am part of the charity Development Board and as such want to support the amazing work they have been doing all through Covid (& for the 8 years prior), even changing their entire model to virtual social clubs and outreach through the pandemic.

It’s sure to be a challenge for Pippa (as well as Katie!) ... Logan and Daniel likely to finish WAY ahead of the pack so we will be taking lots of drink and Percy pigs to keep us motivated and moving! We would love to see some fellow Santa runners in Highgate woods on Saturday do let me know if you’re up for joining in.
