Thanks for taking the time to visit my latest JustGiving page!

Since taking up running in my late 30's, I have fund-raised for an event each year. 

This year, I have finally plucked up the courage to enter a marathon. Not content with a local event on the South coast of England, I decided to make it the trip of a lifetime and in May signed up to the New York Marathon on Sunday 3rd November.

Fitting the training in alongside my job, 3 children, school runs, 2 cats, a rabbit, an abandoned garden and a neglected husband has been hard ( for them more than me!) and recently hampered by injury, but I am looking forward to achieving a lifetime goal in an amazing city.

In September, I ran the Bleinham Palace Half Marathon and will run the Great South Run on Sunday 20th October as a warm-up

I am raising for NeST, who help fund research into kidney disease, something that affects our own family and many wonderful people whom I meet in my work every day as a kidney specialist.
