*****I have done it! I completed the London Marathon 2018 in (for me) an amazing 4h 27min and 29s! It has been such a great experience with all the crowds cheering us on. It also has probably been the physically most challenging thing I have ever done!

Thank you all so much for all the support throughout my training, the run itself and of course for all the donations in support of the OAS. With your help, I have managed to surpass my original fundraising target of £500 to support all the animals. It has been such an inspiration and motivation. In a moment of craziness last year, I decided to enter the ballot to the London Marathon...and against the odds, I got in! 

Since the beginning of the year, training has pretty much taken over my life but until now I haven't really been thinking much of who I'd like to support with this great effort. 

A few weeks ago, we adopted our girl Sadie from the Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary. When we first met her, she was very nervous and scared but soon started to warm up to us and now that she is with us, she's just so cuddly and loveable! Every time I visited the Sanctuary to see Sadie, I was greeted by a lovely bunch of people who really care and look after all the dogs, cats and rabbits looking for their forever homes. Unfortunately, the monthly donations currently don't cover all the costs for looking after the animals; so I want to do my part in supporting the Sanctuary and say thank you for giving us our Sadie, who we couldn't imagine being without now.
