Hi 

Well the race has been done...... am so so chuffed and managed it in 52.23 minutes. 

As you can tell from the pictures.... I don't really like early starts and was not looking any better by the end!  Still I managed it. Got sore legs today as in all the excitement I forgot to stretch after the race - Doh!

It was quite close and clammy with the odd bit of rain and there were plenty of paramedics on the course but thankfully we didn't need them! I think my granda would have been smiling at me as I struggled to breathe and complete the course without being sick - there were a few close moments, I can assure you!

I want to thank everyone who has made donations to my page, I have been overwhelmed by everyone's kindness and support. I really appreciate it very much. Thank you! I know my granda would be very proud and grateful.

My page is still open for another month and so there is still time to make a donation, no matter how small, for anyone who hasn't done so, so far. Any donation no matter how small is very welcome and appreciated.

So far my total is standing at £440 + gift aid to be added on.... Its amazing.
