Willow is the only UK charity supporting seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds by providing unique and positive Special Days. Since 1999 Willow has fulfilled more than 22,000 Special Days for young adults living with life-threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease and cystic fibrosis.

Story

My name is Katy Ratcliffe, I am now 14, and I want to help make a similar impact on someones life, of which the Willow Foundation had on mine and my family's.

What do they do?

Throughout 2013, I would like to raise £1000 for the Willow Foundation. This charity organises special days for seriously ill 16-40 year olds and their families. The charity has made a huge impact on many lives in the past, I would love to help in return for what the Willow Foundation have done for me.

How did they help me?

The Willow foundation provided a short holiday for my family and me during mum's illness. This gave me the opportunity to spend some precious time with mum before she passed away in February 2009.

My aim is to raise more than £1000 over the year, so that this charity can arrange more life enhancing special days. For more information, go to http://www.willowfoundation.org.uk

Please donate what you can afford- anything is appreciated. Thank you so much!
