Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday I'm taking part in my 2nd Triathlon, and for those interested I'm doing the Sprint which is a 500m swim in the outdoor pool at Nantwich, a 21k cycle around Nantwich and then a 5k run around Barony Park. When I did the 1st Triathlon earlier this year nobody told me that they're addictive! 😀
I'd like to take this opportunity to raise some money and awareness for an amazing charity called Jump Space.
Jump Space is not only a fully accessible, specialist centre offering Rebound Therapy, Trampolining and Sensory Play to people of all ages and all levels of disability and ability, but within that it is the first fully-inclusive place that I have found for my adult son. I know I can take him there and feel confident that he is both understood and totally accepted just as he is, even in his occasional, more challenging moments.
Something else I love about Jump Space is that siblings and infact all family members are encouraged to join in as well, making it a place where the whole family can spend time doing an activity together. This is something that many families take for granted but is often not possible for families living with a disability. Jump Space is also open to people without any disabilities in their family, so it really is as inclusive as it can be.
Jump Space is a small charity, which relies on grants and donations to be able to provide mainly disabled people with a fun, accessible leisure facility, which for some is their only means of being active.
Please spare what you can for this wonderful and supportive charity.
