We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This page is for my son Kayden, he was born on the 8th july 2008 at 00.41am . He was a very special little boy who achieved alot in his life,  he had smiles for everyone and was always happy, to the outside world Kayden appeared to be happy and healthy however im not sure anyone truly realised just how ill Kayden was , he was very subborn and smart and very very ckeeky.  Kayden sadly died on the 3rd of october 2010 at 5.17am. He was born with a very rare and untreatable disorder Known as a Mitochondrial Disorder, although no one was aware of this until after Kayden passed away. Unfortunately im not even fully aware of what this disorder is , However i hope to in the near future set up my own website about this illness so other people can go on and have a look and hopefully understand exactly what Kaydens illness was and just how much it affected him and his family.
