Story
Here we go again... After an agonising end to the New York Marathon in November, I've decided to put myself through it all again and attempt one closer to home.
I shall be running (stumbling, hopping) 26.1 miles in the London Marathon on 25th April 2010. Why would one do this I hear you cry? Well, it's all in order to raise awareness and money for two very deserving charities. This page is supporting the local charity - The St Wilfrid's Hospice in Eastbourne.
St Wilfrid’s is a fantastic chairty which provides compassionate care and treatment for patients and their families as they near the end of life. It costs £3.5 million a year to run the hospice and only 15% comes from the NHS. They rely heavily on donations and support from the public so I would be very grateful if you could sponsor me and give whatever you can. Every penny will make a difference.
Many thanks for your support. Let's pray for calm, cool and cloudy conditions on the day!
