Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice provide specialist palliative care to adults and children across the Fylde Coast and much needed support for their families. Our services are available free of charge, but with limited government funding we need to raise over £10 million every year.

Story

Jane was diagnosed with cancer a matter of weeks before she very quickly and sadly passed away. Her last week's on earth were spent with family and loved ones at Trinity Hospice where the staff worked so hard to provide such good care to Jane.

Jane loved and was loved by so many people and had a wonderful penchant for life. As she would never be one to just sit back and feel sorry for herself, neither will I.

Throughout 2020 I will be aiming to complete a total of 5000 miles (with a little help from some friends!) through treks, runs, walks and general activity (and also attempting to record the journey on a GoPro). Each mile will be walked in remembrance of Jane but also to raise the much needed funds that places like Trinity rely on to operate. I know so many people who have benefitted from Trinity being there and now is a really great opportunity to give something back.

If you want to get involved, share the fundraising page, do an activity and donate some Miles For Jane, I'm gonna need all the help I can get! At the end of the year there will be a celebration of what everyone has achieved in her memory and hopefully a few laughs along the way.
