Story

Barry was one of my best friends. We grew up together and shared so many great experiences. There is a Barry story for practically every situation, he was always the life and soul of any gathering. Sadly, Barry died of an undiagnosed heart condition last year. He'll always hold a special place in the lives of many people.

In his memory, I would like to try and raise money to help others with heart conditions, with the hope that others may be more fortunate. London-Southend is 52 miles, but as this is no longer a challenge for me I am intending to start from Southend and cycle the route in reverse, before joining the other riders heading east from Victoria Park, which should lead to a total of 104 miles.
