Story
This year the Southern Kafue has been affected by the lowest recorded annual rainfall in 68 years. This will have a devastating impact on wildlife. The majority of rivers, dambos and pools will dry up leaving wildlife without water. This situation means:
- Wildlife could die - most antelope species need to drink water once a day.
- Poaching will increase as local communities suffer poor harvests
This appeal is to construct 6 boreholes to supply water to the pools and dambos and to provide emergency support to local communities to limit poaching.
Please help us by donating to enable the wildlife of Southern Kafue National Park survive this years' drought.
