Story
In Rotherham explorer scouts we are completing our community section in our ICV(international community values)challenge. To do this, there are 5 steps to it. The first one being identify the need so the need in my ICV group is protect the environment and the charity for this is the keep Britain tidy charity. The second step is to plan action. I'm a young leader for the 48th wath cub section in scouts and one night in the summer we will do litter picking around wath. I also would like to do a bake sale but I didn't know when or where so I thought the wath festival would be the perfect time to do it so I was wondering if we could set up a stall and do a bake sale to raise money for the keep Britain tidy charity on behalf of Rotherham explorer scouts. One of the 48th wath scout leaders has said that if you give me permission to go ahead and do this, we as an ICV group can do it next to them. The 3rd step is to do the action which is basically to do the litter picking and bake sale if you give us permission to. The 4th step is to review it. This means writing a review and asking us questions like how did it go? What could be improved? How much money was raised? Etc. the fifth and final step is to tell the world but instead of telling the world, I'm going to tell the cub section which I'm a young leader for by as a group, making a presentation and showing it to the cubs of why we are doing this.
