On June 15 next year I will be attempting an Olympic distance triathlon, to raise money for Heart Link children's charity at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester, to help support them with the work they do with kids and families affected by a range of heart conditions. 

I have never attempted a triathlon before, so in classic 'biting off more than you can chew' style, I thought I'd aim for the Olympic distance and jump straight in at the deep end.
