We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.

They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

They won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.

Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem and hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling.

Mind believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone.

They will listen, give you support and advice, and fight your
corner.

Your Local Minds provide help and support directly to those
who need it most.

There's a network of around 125 local Minds across England
and Wales that offer specialised support and care based on the needs of the communities they support.

Over the last few years they have come a long way, but there is still more to be done. The focus of their new strategy is on supporting the people disproportionately affected by mental health issues. People from racialised communities, young people, and people living in poverty.

Mind have 4 pillars that describe what Mind does and how
they will work to achieve their ambitions (click on the link for further information)

Our
strategy | Mind, the mental health charity - help for mental health problems

  • We connect minds
  • We support minds
  • We change minds
  • Together we are mind

Their 3 strategic development priorities as they are the
areas where they know we need to do more, to respond to urgent needs.

  • Becoming an anti-racist organisation
  • Supporting young people
  • Fighting for people in poverty

On reflection

Mental health is not hidden anymore, it’s on the front
pages, it’s on the political agenda, and it’s spoken about by royalty. For
millions of people, mental health is now something to be honest about and not
ashamed of.

The Mind community have been at the heart of this
transformation. Together, they have shown what mental health really looks like,
what support makes it better, and what needs to change.
