The ABA Commission on Homelessness and Poverty better connects individuals with needed legal services and breaks down legal barriers through its Homeless Court program, with nearly 70 Homeless Courts across the country.

Story

I'm coming up on my 6th year as an attorney with the ABA's Commission on Homelessness and Poverty. It's thanks to donations like yours that I'm able to further our mission to end homelessness and poverty for all.

As many of you know, involvement with the criminal justice system can impede access to housing, employment, and education which can perpetuate a cycle of poverty for many Americans.

To counter the negative impact of criminal cases on those experiencing homelessness, the ABA Commission on Homelessness and Poverty has been bringing the courts to the streets to better connect individuals with needed services and to break down legal barriers. Through charitable gifts and grants, nearly 70 Homeless Court have been established across the United States and reached tens of thousands of individuals.

I appreciate any support you're willing to provide - help me reach my goal of $2,000!
