East Anglian Air Ambulance provides advanced critical care 24/7 to the most seriously ill and injured people in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire by air and road. Each tasking costs on average £4,250 and, with no regular government funding, we rely almost entirely on public support.

Story

On the 13th July 2013, in a few short seconds my life changed. The rapid response from the Air Ambulance made sure I not only made the swift journey from the roadside (one I would probably wouldn’t have survived if I’d taken it by road ambulance) to Addenbrookes Hospital for emergency surgery but also without the crew's assistance and emergency care at the scene, the accident would have undoubtedly had a much more devastating impact on mine and my families lives.

I would once again like the opportunity to show the EAAA team how grateful I am, for being there when I needed them. The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a 365-day service. Each mission costs £2,270 and I started out wanting to repay the cost of my flight, but some debts can never be fully repaid. For me this is one of them, so please show your support and give what you can.

EAAA do not receive any funding from Government or Lottery and the £8.5 million they need to raise every year comes directly from donations.
