I did it!!!!! 13.1 miles 2 hours 51 minutes 59 seconds. 

Apart from a little 400 metre speed bump blip (they seemed very highand I had to walk them!) I ran the distance. I could not have done it without Allan and he kept my speed and heart rate in check. We crossed the line together.

When I was running I thought of all my sponsorship and it really did make the difference.

I ran for ARC who gave me advice and introduced me to other Mums in the same desperately sad situation. ARC support parents but more importantly they train medical professionals to deliver bad news and are our voices with the media and parliament.

ARC is such a great charity, please help me support them as they supported me.

£10 - pays for an information and support pack for a bereaved or expectant parent

£20 - pays for the website for a day – an essential aid for parents and health professionals

£30 - will ensure ARC 10 Handbooks go to a hospital to be available to parents on hearing bad news

£50 - will give training to a volunteer to provide local support to bereaved and anxious parents

£100 - will pay for the upkeep of the helpline for one day – often the first point of call for a distressed parent
