I am the Fundraising Officer at the British Skin Foundation (BSF) the only charity in the UK dedicated to funding research into all skin diseases and skin cancer. 

My job involves motivating and encouraging people to raise funds for us by taking part in events, I now think that it is about time that I took part in an event and raised money for the wonderful charity I work for. It is for this reason I have decided to take on the challenge of a lifetime and attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in October 2012. 

I am not particularly fit (I workout occasionally) and so I really have my work cut out to ensure that I am physically capable of reaching the summit. I have a tough challenge ahead especially, as I only have three months to train, so any support you are able to give would be immensely appreciated and will give me the motivation to keep going.
