WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

Thank you for visiting the Kemble Court Leftovers' WaterAid fundraising page.

On Thursday 22 July, we'll be battling it out with other teams of super heroes in the annual one mile raft race organised by Thames Water.

Up to 40 themed rafts will set off on the river Thames at Caversham Bridge in this annual legendary event. Each team will design, build and decorate their raft and wear fancy dress based around the theme of Super Heroes. It's our first year in the raft race as a team, but we're confident that our preparation, raft design and intimidation tactics will stand us in good stead for a winning place!

Please support The Kemble Court Leftovers and WaterAid by donating here. It's a great cause - WaterAid enables the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. These basic human rights underpin heath, education and livelihoods and form the first, essential step in overcoming poverty. Every little helps, so all donations large and small are appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the WaterAid and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

And don't forget to come and support us on the day - at 6.15pm the race will be started with a flag and horns and we'll need your help in persuading the other teams that we really are the one and only rip roaring raft that they need to watch out for!

Thanks for your support.
