Ken passed away on January 15th 2017, aged 93 years. He loved spending time in the hills, and spent many happy days tramping up and down the the groughs of Kinder Scout and walking the surrounding hills, as well climbing and walking many other hills and mountains throughout Britain. He never had cause to call on the services of Kinder Mountain Rescue, but always knew they would be there for him if he ever needed them.
