On 16th / 17th September 2015 I will be setting out from Lourdes to cycle 100 kilometres over the Col du Tourmalet in the French Pyrenees to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Having lost close family and friends to cancer and having been lucky enough to have survived it myself, I want to give something back to help defeat this dreadful condition whilst I still can.

Rising to 6,939 feet, the Col du Tourmalet is the highest paved mountain pass in the French Pyrenees and will present a considerable challenge to an old codger like myself ! Please dig deep and please be assured that every penny I raise will go directly to Cancer Research UK.
