Palace to Palace 2018 · 7 October 2018 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Excited to be joining Team Tortoise in the race against The Hares from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle one (sunny) Sunday in October.

I hope you do not mind me asking if you would very kindly consider donating just a token amount in sponsorship of the ride. If you gave £1, 87p would be spent on activities that change young lives and 13p would be spent on the Prince's Trust support costs. Plus if you use Gift Aid, your £1 generates another 25p. It all contributes and I would be hugely grateful.

I'm hoping to be one of the first 200 riders to raise £300 by 31st August (so I can look the biz on the day in a special gold jersey!)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Texting your donation is super quick & easy

Type 'TORT90' into your text message, followed by the amount you want to donate, to the number 70070. So, if you wanted to donate £1, you would text 'TORT90 £1' to 70070. Its a speedy way to donate as your donation is automatically charged to your mobile 'phone bill without having to fill in any details at all. You will receive a text after your donation, giving you the option to select gift aid to add 25% at no extra cost - now that's when you do have to fill in your address, but you get to leave a message too. Either way, I'll see who made the donation.

Thanks ever so much for reading this far!
