Story

Hi All,

Sadly we had to postpone our spinnathon on March 19th. The 2.6 Challenge was recently launched in the UK to help charities that are going to be suffering a huge shortfall over the next few months, having had to cancel their fundraising event. We thought that it was such a good initiative, that we decided to adopt it ourselves!

We would love you to take part in the challenge and give as little or as much as you like! The concept is easy - do an athletic activity based around the number 2.6 or 26 e.g. 2.6km run, 2.6 mile bike ride, 26 push ups, 26 sit ups, climb the steps 26 times, eat 26 cakes (if we include extreme eating as a sporting activity?!) – most importantly you must follow government Covid-19 advice and social distance guidelines.

The Dublin office will be supporting The Temple Street Children's Hospital.

Kennedy Wilson are inspired by the work of Temple Street Children's Hospital and we are delighted to support Techies for Temple Street for the 2nd year!

Over the next few months we will be holding various fundraising events with all proceeds going to this great cause!

The Impact

Temple Street is Ireland's leading National Children's Hospital and provides loving care to over 148,000 patients each year from all over Ireland.

These patients and their families rely on Temple Street to provide the best care in the best possible environment.

Your support will allow Temple Street to make a real difference to the children and parents of Temple Street Children's University Hospital by funding the redevelopment of hospital facilities, purchasing life-saving equipment, financing research and by creating a caring environment. It will literally save lives every single day. And there is no greater gift than that.

Since the first T4TS in 2015, a massive 1.1m has been raised which has contributed towards the construction of the Renal and Neurology Department along with improvements at the Outpatients department as well as purchasing vital life-saving equipment in daily use at the hospital.

We have created this page because we want to make a difference. Our goal is to raise as much as we can to support Temple Street Foundation, please help by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button.

Kennedy Wilson will match donations in line with our employee sponsorship and matching policy so don’t be shy!
