Worldwide, 356 million children live in extreme poverty. Poverty robs children of their basic rights to learn, play and grow up strong and healthy.
Compassion is a leading Christian children’s charity. Its approach to fighting poverty is highly focused and personal. Since 1952, Compassion has been giving children the opportunity to escape the suffering and fear poverty brings through a one-to-one child sponsorship model.
Working with local church partners across the world, Compassion ensures support reaches children who need it most. Sponsored children are provided with exceptional care in every area of their lives.
Pauline and I have had the great privilege over several years to sponsor a number of children through Compassion.
