Life has many blessings. Ask people what they are. Some say money, education, food. Others say family, love, peace. The material and basic things. Practical and personal. People rarely point out the elemental things: sight, sound, feeling. It's not overlooked, but is underappreciated.

 It's gratitude of having the simple gift of seeing the beautiful world, as well as living in it with others. Seeing colour, seeing people, seeing life. The beautiful, the imperfections and experiences. And for others in this world that isn't even possible. Imagine that. Those people are special. They may not be blessed with the wonderful gift of sight, but are gifted in many other ways. And that to me is a true example of living life, in strength, empowerment and beauty. 

To me it's the hardest and bravest thing anyone can ever do and that makes them blessed people. To go on with life and treat it as a blessing despite not being able to physically see them or other peoples. To take little and live.

For the bravest people, I'm taking the bravest step (well plunge). A brave step for a brave cause.
