Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I'm challenging myself to do as many crazy things for charity as possible to raise money for Dementia UK. This may or may not include:

  • The Three Peaks Challenge
  • A half marathon - Have skipped a half marathon and decided to run 70 miles instead, check it out here: www.facebook.com/events/1550333011899630/
  • Race for Life 10k
  • Tough mudder
  • Just Dance marathon - www.facebook.com/events/776893905693682

And many more surprises!

Dementia UK is a charity dedicated in providing support and care for those with Dementia to help them lead fulfilling and positive lives. They also lead the way in research into the best possible care for those with Dementia.

I've seen first hand what Dementia can do to a person through my experience as a personal carer for those with the condition. It is something that no person should go through and we should all do as much as we can to help raise awareness of the condition and donate as much as we can into research to end cure it!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
