NOMAN raises awareness of the HPV-related cancer epidemic in men and women, and campaigns for gender-neutral HPV vaccination. HPV is the causal agent of 5% of cancer, and we can prevent these simply by vaccinating both boys and girls against HPV.

Story

I am taking on a new challenge in order raise awareness about the link between HPV and cancer, and to support the work of the NOMAN Campaign, which is committed to eliminating 5% of cancers worldwide through global coverage of gender-neutral HPV vaccination programmes.

To raise awareness about the importance of the HPV vaccine and support the work of the charity, I will be taking part in a race, rowing across the Balearic Sea in July from Barcelona to Ibiza. This is a gruelling journey that will require intense physical and mental preparation, but I am committed to the cause and ready for the challenge.

As you may know, human papillomavirus (HPV) is a common virus that can lead to several types of cancer, including cervical cancer, anal cancer, and oropharyngeal cancer. Yet, despite the significant impact that HPV has on cancer rates, many people remain unaware of the link between the two outside of cervical cancer. Rates of anal, penile and head & neck cancer in men are rising dramatically. That is why NOMAN Campaign to introduce global, gender-neutral vaccination to protect all children from the devastating carcinogen, HPV.

I am asking for your support in this endeavour. By sponsoring my row, you will not only help me achieve my personal goal but also contribute to a larger cause that will have a significant impact on the health and well-being of people all around the world.

I have seen first-hand how cancer can impact the lives of those we care about, and I want to do my part to help. By donating to the NOMAN Campaign, you can help support their vital work in funding HPV vaccine awareness campaigns, research, and education initiatives.

Please consider making a donation to support my rowing journey and the mission of NOMAN Campaign. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real impact in the fight against cancer.

NOMAN is more than a race, it is a call to action.

If the race goes to plan I should be arriving in Ibiza on the 20th July, so if you are around to wave me in that would be amazing, but if you sadly cant make it, no worries I will accept a double donation 😊
