Story
I am hoping to run the Plymouth Half Marathon to raise funds for the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity. I chose this charity because volunteering for this organisation made me realise all of the fantastic work that they do and how much donations really do mean to them. This is also a personal challenge for me as I am sure you all know, I am definitely not a runner!
The majority of people know someone who has been affected by a brain tumour and the work of this charity is so important to give those diagnosed as well and their friends and family the support they need. The charity's mission is to ensure that everyone diagnosed with a brain tumour in Jersey has access to practical, emotional, financial support and information as this support can make a real difference. Personally, my aunty unfortunately passed away due to a brain tumour when I was a child and this charity wasn't around then but I know their support would have been greatly received in my family as previously there was little help tailored for those affected by this type of diagnosis.
Please donate, no matter how little, to show your support. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
